Halloween Project - Fence

I started building a fence to keep people from asking to walk through my yard.  I finished two sections of fencing today made out of 1/2" PVC pipe and 1"x2"x8' wood.  Below are the instructions I used to create fence sections:
  1. Cut the 1'x2"x8' wood in half to make 4' sections of fence.
  2. Cut the 10' PVC 1/2" pipe in half.  I cut mine into 63" and 57" in order to have some shorter and longer fence posts.
  3. Drill holes every 6" into the two sections of 1'x2"x4'
  4. Insert PVC into the wood holes.
  5. Then use Gorilla glue to glue the PVC in the wood holes
  6. Spray paint

2013 Halloween Summary

This year, I just didn't feel like putting out my Halloween decorations, but my niece and nephew was begging me to put them out.  I took the little bit of energy I had and put out all of the decorations.  I only had enough energy to work on two new projects, which was my new jester and modifying my above ground grave by adding a gargoyle head to the front of it which I used to shoot my fog machine out of it's mouth.

2013 Halloween Decorating, Day 4

I repaired my headless horseman.  I hope he says standing up this year.

I started working on a few projects that I hope I have finished before Halloween.  I'm working on a new JESTER dummy, but I only finished the frame and lower half today.

I also decided to modify my above ground grave that I made a few years ago.

BEFORE:

Under Construction:
I added a head to the front that I'm planning on shoot fog out of.  The budgie cords are  holding the head in place while it dries.  I also took the bottom off  and I shorten the top, so it will no longer be an extra 5 inches on both sides.  I just didn't like the way it turned out when I first made it.

2013 Halloween Decorating, Day 2

I finished adding the blue flood lights and the miniature lights on the fence, sidewalk, and house.  Now I only have left a few more steps until everything is complete, but it will have to wait until next weekend.

2013 Halloween Decorating, Day 1

This year doesn't even feel like Halloween because I've been working so much overtime.  I don't feel light putting out the Halloween decorations this year, but my nieces/nephews are begging me to put them out, so I can't let them down.  I was able to set up about 75% of my yard today before I ran out of day light.

2012 Halloween Summary

This year I had the whole yard decorated and 5 days before Halloween I had to tear it down due to a nearby hurricane.  It’s a good thing I didn’t leave anything out because the winds were pretty strong and one of my friends left out her decorates and some of them blew away.

On Halloween, I came home early and set up some very limited Halloween decorations for the kids, so they would not be totally disappointed.  I did have a lot of returning trick-n-treaters say my yard was just not the same this year without the graveyard.  It’s good to know people appreciate and like your decorations.
